Composer, Producer

Born in Aichi, Japan, he first encountered computers in his mid‑teens, beginning with game programming on the PC‑6001. Fascinated by its built‑in PSG sound chip, he soon found himself drawn to the intersection of technology and music.

Teaching himself composition from the ground up, he explored digital music creation using machines such as the PC‑9801 and X68000, developing systems that combined FM synthesis and MIDI instruments to perform original works automatically. His musical sensibilities were shaped by the influence of Ryuichi Sakamoto, John Williams, and other iconic composers.

In his late twenties, he was stunned by the remarkable fidelity of a Star Wars main‑title MIDI arrangement for the SC‑55, discovered through early online bulletin boards.

Around his early thirties, he stepped away from music—leaving behind the remark, “One day, I wish vocalists could sing through MIDI control”—and devoted himself to a full‑time career outside the arts.

As the music world shifted from hardware sound modules to DAWs and software instruments, he eventually returned to creation in his fifties, focusing on orchestral production with a modern computer‑based setup.

He expanded his activities to platforms like YouTube and Twitter, gaining experience through event participation and collaborative projects.

Today, he continues to release new works, with NuSound serving as his primary platform as he pursues a unique musical vision built on the fusion of technology and composition.
